Al ben de' tuoi qual vittima, Raimondo's aria from Lucia di Lammermoor

Al ben de' tuoi qual vittima For the good of your family
offri, Lucia, te stessa;     	Lucia, offer yourself as a victim;
e tanto sacrificio and so great a sacrifice
scritto nel ciel sarà.... will be written in heaven.
Se la pietà degl'uomini Though men's mercy
a te non fia concessa, may be denied yuo,
v'è un Dio, che tergere there is a God,
il pianto tuo saprà. who will wipe your tears.
