o bell'alma innamorata,      	oh, my beautiful soul in love,
ti rivolgi a me placata,     	turn towards me appeased,
teco ascenda il tuo fedel.   	let your true lover ascend with you.
Ah! Se l'ira dei mortali     	Oh! If the anger of mortals
fece a noi sì cruda guerra,  	was so cruel with us,
se divisi fummo in terra,    	if we were divided on earth,
ne congiunga il Nume in ciel.	may God unite us in Heaven.
