Synopsis: Imagining his wife all, alone, Cecilius is sad at first but then realizes that with his friend Cinna's help, he will see her soon. He sings in his aria that he can already imagine the moment he sees his wife again. He wonders though how much joy he will feel if now, when he is only thinking about her, he feels exhilirated.
